The Proposal
When I first saw Rebecca + Blake’s pictures from their proposal, I instantly wanted to be friends with them and shoot their wedding. The joy in their faces was immeasurable. It really stuck out to me. When she decided to book me I was absolutely ecstatic. Both Rebecca and Blake have been dream clients this entire journey. They are so easy going and have been so personable with us. Rebecca is jewel. She beams with a natural beauty and cheerfulness that is so rare. Blake’s humor and leadership is so evident in their relationship. I just love how they interact! I knew their classic Birmingham winter wedding was going to be one of my all time favorites!
The Wedding Day
Fast forward to the Classic Winter Wedding Day in Birmingham. It was a cold day , and yet it didn’t seem to phase anyone at all. We started the day off at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Blake and Rebecca’s first look was so exciting and special. Blake was truly speechless. Just when we thought our portrait time couldn’t get any more fun, then we met the bridal party!!! What a group of friends! They cheered on Rebecca and Blake all day and made them feel so special. They even made me feel special! 🙂 We had a blast with them. It was so amazing to really click with everyone there! I have the best job! YAY!
Rebecca and Blake’s vision was a classic and yet elegant style that focused on the covenant they were coming into. There joy and excitement about being husband and wife shined more than any other detail of the day. My eyes watered as they were announced as husband and wife and recessed down the aisle. Every guest was cheering and smiling, and their faces just beamed from excitement!! We ended the day with a wonderful celebration at B&A Warehouse in downtown Birmingham, and a beautiful sparkler exit! What a day!!
